Festival Branding + App Design

Fèis Ìle is an annual festival on the island of Islay in Scotland celebrating its numerous distilleries. A week-long event in which all of the different distilleries share special “Distillery Days” to put a spotlight on their product. I wanted to create an app that could be used especially during the festival, giving users a day-by-day itinerary as well as a journal for their favorite whiskys they sampled at each venue. I chose a very natural color palette, taking inspiration from colors of different distilleries and imagery such as the barrels they use. The pattern in the background of many screens is a stylized, topographical map of the island.
